Lakhshya ek Khoj

Lakhshya ek Khoj……….

Have you ever wondered, why do they have Red Tape at Finish Line of race…..
It is for a very simple reason, to tell you have reached your GOAL (Lakhshya)…..

If the red tape or finish line rope or finish line indicator is not visible…..The athlete may keep running, even when goal is achieved or may not give his best if he does not see the red tape……

What is a Goal……
Goal/Lakhshya is the indicator what your Mind dreams and Body achieves…..
Goal is Lakhshya ……

Human mind is wired in a such way, it needs to be shown the End Line….End Goal
If you have no Lakhshya, any path will take you there.

But once you have Lakhshya, you set a path and you chart a plan to tread on that path to reach your Lakhshya….
I have always believed, and followed Goal oriented approach to Personal, Professional  and Fitness lifestyle.
This Goal oriented approach always helped me to keep focus and tread the path……

When I saw my fellow Runners, Cyclists, Swimmers, Sports athletes…… I realized most did activities because someone else was doing or  under no structured approach or guidance.
This used to trigger quick success but faster injuries.

The Coach in me realized, most also did over workout, over running or over  gyming.
I used to be pained by the  injury prone individuals, who gave up or continued inspite of the same and did more damage.
Also the other challenge was few just could not improve Performance inspite of doing everything.

But the most important was almost everyone was driven by lack of goal…lack of lakhshya….

The coach and trainer in me pushed me to think and do something….

Once this was done, I was clear the root cause was….
  • 1.       Lack of Goal…Short term Lakhshya and Long Term Lakhshya
  • 2.       Lack of structured scientific based Coaching
  • 3.       Lack of  Strength

Equipped with these 3 parameters……I launched the “Lakhshya” Initiative.

June,1st saw the d-day of 1st initiative Lakhshya Strength Workout Program.

It had clear Short Term Lakhshya
  • 1.       Build Strength and get strong
  • 2.       Participate in NIO Marathon to help qualify by good performance for TMM (Tata Mumbai marathon)

This was 7 weeks program which focused on the above. Lakhshya.

  • The Program had focus on
  • 1.       Building overall body strength
  • 2.       Focus on developing strong legs
  • 3.       Improve Diet and realize importance of sleep
  • 4.       Build speed for running half marathon

Lakhshya Workout Program(LWP) was planned and executed in structured way, scientifically based and monitored with data.

They say, What can be measured can be improved.
This was the key aspect which helped many achieve the dream and individual Lakhshya  at NIO Marathon.
Lakhshya Strength Workout Program and details will be in different blog also the success of individuals.

I will end with this famous line…
To fail to prepare, is the Prepare to fail.

LWP is the guiding light to prepare you reach your Lakhshya and charts the path to reach……

Great initiative ... much needed today where environment is getting polluted, lifestyle is becoming sedentary and stress levels are increasing.
